Inspired by the realities of working life in developing countries, this artwork reflects upon the many people who are compelled to sell their labor, strength, and physical endurance simply to survive. In the crowded landscapes of major cities, where economic systems and limited employment opportunities often leave people with few choices, physical labor becomes a means of sustaining life. The artist draws attention to the dignity and resilience of those who work as porters, online motorcycle drivers, parking attendants, street-food vendors, and other informal workers—many of whom may possess academic degrees and professional aspirations yet are required to accept whatever livelihood is available to them.

The artwork becomes a reflection on the paradox between education, human potential, and economic circumstance. Behind every pair of working hands is a person with dreams, knowledge, abilities, and a desire for a dignified life.
